Spring Fusion Mini Camp

Get ready for an epic adventure!

Spring Fusion Mini Camp at Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium at the University of Arizona is a spring break camp in Tucson featuring science activities, arts and crafts, exploration of science exhibits, and planetarium shows for kids in grades 2nd through 5th. All sessions are taught by educators with a passion for inspiring a love of learning and fun!

Camp Theme: Sky Island Explorers

Prepare to explore the breathtaking biomes of Southern Arizona’s Sky Islands! 

Campers will become science explorers, diving into the secrets of biology, geology, and weather that make these mountain ranges so extraordinary. 

Through hands-on experiments and exciting investigations, they’ll uncover the wonders of local biodiversity, from unique wildlife to stunning ecosystems. Join us for a journey of discovery that blends science, adventure, and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature!

Dates

Two-day sessions:

  • 2nd - 3rd grades: Monday and Tuesday, March 10th-11th
  • 4th - 5th grades: Wednesday and Thursday, March 12th-13th

Times

Drop off time: 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. 

Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pick up time: 4:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Cost

Non-Member Rate: $125

Flandrau Member Rate: $110
