Unravel the extreme beauty of nature's electrical outbursts at this special evening event. Meteorologist Ron Holle will be your guide to the monsoon skies with his featured talk "Flashes of Brilliance: The Science and Wonder of Arizona Lightning." This event will also feature the premiere of a new planetarium show called Extreme Weather along with science exhibits, telescope stargazing (weather permitting), a live star talk, and special activities.

Reveal the marvels of the universe through science exhibits and special themed activities starting at 5:30PM. Flandrau staff will be on hand to help facilitate science demos in the Main Exhibit hall.

Peer at the night sky with us
When the sun goes down, we'll be outside with our Dobsonian telescope looking at the moon and any other astronomical objects out during the viewing period.
8:00PM - Extreme Weather
Premiere of new limited-run fulldome planetarium show
