Join Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium for an immersive evening celebrating the science of our star. Enjoy evening access to engaging science exhibits, hands-on activities, and a special live presentation in the Eos Foundation Planetarium exploring the Sun’s dynamic influence on Earth and beyond. The evening also features a screening of Sunstruck, a stunning planetarium show that traces humanity’s long fascination with the Sun and the science behind its powerful forces. Come to Flandrau for an evening of discovery and solar science.

Travel back to the beginning of time and experience the birth of the Sun.
Explore the sun in all its glory in this planetarium show. Sunstruck takes us on a journey to discover the wonders of our magnificent sun and investigate how our star has supported life on Earth for millennia. Travel back in time to experience the birth of our Sun and solar system. Discover how the Sun came to support life, how it threatens life as we know it, and how its energy will one day fade away.
