Join Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium for an immersive evening celebrating the science of our star. Enjoy evening access to engaging science exhibits, hands-on activities, and a special live presentation in the Eos Foundation Planetarium exploring the Sun’s dynamic influence on Earth and beyond. The evening also features a screening of Sunstruck, a stunning planetarium show that traces humanity’s long fascination with the Sun and the science behind its powerful forces. Come to Flandrau for an evening of discovery and solar science.

6:00PM - Planetarium Presentation

Travel back to the beginning of time and experience the birth of the Sun.

8:00PM - Telescopes on the UA Mall
Observe with us!
As long as weather cooperates, Flandrau staff will be working the telescopes aiming at points of interest in the night sky to share with event-goers.
